Marissa Passi is a New York-based arts administrator and producer of artist-driven community programs.

She has supported education initiatives in New York City museums, nonprofits, and galleries for over ten years. Currently, she coordinates Learning programs for Hauser & Wirth’s four New York galleries.

While Manager of Artist Studios and Interpretation at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), she supported over 60 artists-in-residence, produced studio-based workshops, and facilitated group dialogues within exhibitions. Prior, as Assistant Director of The Sketchbook Project, she managed programs, partnerships, and operations for a crowd-sourced library of over 30,000 artist sketchbooks.

She has been a guest speaker for professional practice programs at universities and residencies including SVA, RISD, NYSCA, and the Bronx River Arts Center. She has also supported education programs at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and the Judd Foundation.

She views her role as an arts worker as her creative practice, and is also a writer, editor, and zine-maker.
